Works from Helene Schjerfbeck

Helene Schjerfbeck, a Finnish artist, is the idol and pride of the Finnish people. 

She made great achievements in her youth, and her painting style gradually developed from naturalism/modernism to abstractionism. 

With more than 60 works on display at RA this time, Schjerfbeck’s view on “aging” and her unique painting style are back into the public view again.
